AT&T Southeast Combination Technician Bargaining Report #3

Our CWA bargaining team met with the company’s team multiple times yesterday. The parties continued discussions into the evening. The company continues to maintain their position that the Combination Technician should be slotted into Wage Scale 32. Our bargaining team continues to advocate for a higher wage scale.

The company has provided answers to some of the questions posed by our bargaining team. Our team met with the company again this morning and had some constructive discussions. Our bargaining team was able to explain how the addition of the Combination Technician will impact the existing technician job titles. Currently, we are waiting on the company to respond to our latest wage proposal.  

The parties are scheduled to meet again this afternoon to continue discussions. We remain hopeful that we can make progress during these negotiations.
